$179.99??????? ARE THEY OUT OF THEIR FUCKING MINDS?

Straight from the Xbox accessories page:

The Xbox 360 120GB Hard Drive includes a data transfer kit to easily migrate all of your saved data from your 20GB HDD to your 120GB HDD. It comes preloaded with great HD game demos, videos, and an assortment of Xbox Live Arcade game trials.

Yeah I can't see to many takers at that price point. If it's that much I'd rather get an Elite, transfer my gamesaves and whatnot then sell my current system.

They're still working on a solution for those who will be completely replacing their units (as compared to just the HDD) since your HDD drive is closely tied to your actual unit (which is something I didn't know before).

That info can be found in the downloadable video at http://www.on10.net

My buddy Mike works at Best Buy and not too long ago they caught someone stealing the wireless network adapter for the 360. When they asked him why he was stealing it he told them "Because it's too expensive to buy."

Hmmmm....wonder how many of these 120 GB HDDs will be taking a walk.

I was pissed when I dropped $100 on the wireless network adapter. And now I'll have to shell out $180 for a 120 gig hdd? The jump from 20 to 120 isn't necessary. But due to the already ridic pricing of the 20 gig at $100, I don't think they would be able to price a 40 or 60 gig hdd properly. $179.99! I guess MS believes that a hdd is almost equal to a HD-DVD drive.
