20 Games You Should Have Played in 2007, But Didn't

parliamentparis.jpgOver at Poisonous Pixels, they've posted up a great year-end style list: The 20 Games You Should Have Played For 2007, But Didn't.  There are so many titles every year that get rave reviews, the few people you know playing them talk like they're the greatest thing since sliced Halo, and yet you never got around to because you were to busy playing the next sliced Halo.

I was going to make a short list of the games they mention that are on my "to play" list, but there's no way to make that short list a short one.  There are more than a dozen on there that I'd love to tackle at some point, suggesting that in my case, the title "20 Games I Should Have Played in 2007, But Didn't" couldn't be more apt.

I did tackle a few games on the list.  Hated Hotel Dusk (though I think there's a certain market for that one that I just didn't fall into), loved Sam & Max (who wouldn't?), briefly enjoyed Bomberman Live (preferred '93 on the VC) and have recently developed a minor obsession with our own Nathan Smart's pick for #5 game of they year, Desktop Tower Defense.

If you want to know what we thought was great, I hope you're following of year-in-review posts everyday!  What did you think should have made it onto the list?

(and to answer your question about the pic, Jeanne D'arc is my number one "wish I'd played" game this year, so no, it's not just radom weirdness this time around).
