2D Boy releases World of Goo soundtrack... for FREE

Holy crap I love me some 2D Boy. Not only did they make my favorite game of 2008, but they operate with class. Obviously bummed about the piracy rate of the game they've could've run and hid under the closest SecuRom rock but they didn't. Screwing over the proper consumers just isn't good business.

Now we get the awesomely incredible soundtrack handed out to us for FREE. I don't want to say this too loudly but I would've gladly paid for this. Seriously. Well it'll no doubt get downloaded and put into rotation on the ipod tonight, right next to my Dr. Horrible soundtrack :)

Email/send it to everyone who bought the game; kinda like Orange Box soundtrack. Or put it on a nice CD with some cover art and post that to everyone who bought the game... extra inventive crap... kinda like the game as an unintentional loss-leader to build a platform for merchandising it or something.

as akira kurosawa said, the image, the sound and the rest of the elements that make a movie combine to produce a multiplying effect and the result is greater than its parts.
the same goes for games and world of goo is a glorious example
