360 Anuncio está Muy Loco!

My good friend Edgar over at 4 color rebellion pointed me in youtube's direction this afternoon so that I might feast my eyes on the video above. It's an ad for the Xbox 360, presumably from South America, and it makes NO sense. If I close my eyes it sounds like the neighbours in my last apartment. If they really want to market the 360 in South America I think they need to put in a phone call to my old friend Bumblebee Man.

The English version of the same ad concept is awesome, this is just, well words kinda fail me here. It's weird and doesn't really communicate any sort of message like that first "Jump In" ad did.

The "bang bang" shoot out in the subway was a fantastic commercial (though I read it was never aired).

As far as the ad above? I think alliwantforxmsisapsp.com might be more effective.

Indeed, the ad is from South America and those guys are Argies, that is Argentinians. You'll know how nuts Argies are once you learn they attempted to wrestle the Falkland Islands from Britain, and that Maradona, the guy who pushed the ball with his hand to score a goal against the English in a World Cup soccer match later claiming the hand wasn't his but god's, is one of them. Ah, and they have Maradonism which is like a corruption of Catholicism with Maradona as the savior of humankind.

Am I the only one thinking that they forgot to use a blue screen and place those "characters" in front of a 360 game?

That's the only reasonable assumption I can come up with, that or they are on buckets of drugs.
