A few new Rock Band tracks and drum interface

I don't think these have officially been announced, but I could be wrong. Reading through the hands-on impressions of Rock Band on IGN I came across a few tracks that, as far as I know, haven't officially been announced yet. The first four listed here are new to me, and that gives us a total of 9 songs altogether so far (including "Welcome to th Jungle" from the leaked youube clip)

  • Mississippi Queen - Mountain (cover)

  • (Don't Fear) The Reaper - Blue Oyster Cult (original)

  • Suffragette City - David Bowie (original)

  • Main Offender - The Hives (original)

  • Won't Get Fooled Again - The Who (original)

  • In Bloom - Nirvana (original)

  • Say it Ain't So - Weezer (original)

  • Paranoid - Black Sabbath (cover)

  • Welcome to the Jungle - Guns 'n' Roses (?)

The Drums. It's what A LOT of us are looking forward to. Harmonix claims playing it on hard is essentially playing the drums for real. As for the interface, you have 4 pods for 4 drum pads, and the orange line is for your bass drum (kick pedal). Time to start practicing.

Man, that's an unbelievable setlist so far. I was really hoping "Won't Get Fooled Again" would eventually make it to the Guitar Hero series. Damn you Harmonix and EA! You're going to force me to buy a PS3, aren't you?

Ian:

I know there's a 360 version, and possibly a Wii version (I can't remember)

but if you're on the PS2 you may be out of luck
