Chapter 1: An Introduction

Chapter 2: Joining The Crusade

Chapter 3: Get Back To Where You Once Belong

Adnil's current level: 23

So I've completed everything there is to complete in the Burning Crusade's Draenei starting area. Overall it was, by far, the best starting area I've played in for any race. The quests were fun and varied with a somewhat engaging story intertwined. You learn a lot of basics of the game and even get teased with being able to ride a mount for one quest (you can't actually own and ride a mount until level 40). There's one sort of "Grand Finale" quest where at the end you've saved the Draenei people and receive a nice little Star Wars style thank you. You'll see it in the video after the jump.

With my current level of 23 this marks the furthest I've ever taken a WoW character. Not that big of an accomplishment to most WoWers but it is to me. It's a sign of how much I actually like playing with this character and his abilities. I had my last character, a night elf hunter, up to level 21 and now Adnil is in the same area where I stopped the night elf, so things have come full circle.

I find myself starting to work more on my skills in Jewelcrafting, Mining and Fishing these days since I'm at a point where I've run out of quests and need to pick up a bunch more to continue. It's always a daunting task to open your quest log and see it damn near full, but once it's emptied there's a feeling of "Well, what now?" On to the next area of course, and that's where I'm at right now.

To make up for the lack of words this time around I've compiled some of the videos I've collected for you all to check out. So until next time, enjoy:

Can you really call it "Living in Azeroth" when you only spend 5 minutes a week living there?

Woops, I forgot I have a full time job, a wife I like to spend time with and a life...sorry.

"I play maybe a couple hours every other night, or whenever I can." - 4th sentence of the first post in this series.

(To Will) Haha! pwned!!1!one

(To Kevin) I want a Draenei shaman now... thus far I've created and leveled every type of character to at least level 10 except for a druid or a shaman. I'm spending time on my mage right now who just dinged 46.

I'm loving the new content but I want to get through the current stuff so I can see Outland. Only 12 levels to go til my mage can enter the dark portal!

mat, I've a tendency to always play warriors in RPGs so if I venture outside of that it's a surprise to me. Luckily I really enjoy being a shaman. He's powerful and helpful in a group with the totems and healing.

Sorry man; didn't mean it to sound like I was on the attack (like "omg ur not lvl 70 u suk, look at my epix) - I just kinda meant that.. *pauses to rearrange words*... that often the lower levels pass in a blur.

The things that people associate with those "living in Azeroth", such as mount money, rep grinds, bg premades, AV, netherweave, druid/warlock OP complaining and "LFM Shadow Labs" aren't really all that prevalent in the early game; so the name of your (still very good) article seemed like a misnomer.

One thing I'd like to know; is the Draenei quest for the Water Totem as amazingly awesome (and long) as the Horde one? I had a friend who did it all before bothering to pick up his spells... did it without Ghost Wolf.

Will, all's good then.

I called it "Living In Azeroth" because it sounded catchy and nice. The article is aimed at people who don't play the game that often or at all to help them understand a little more about the World Of Warcraft universe and what's involved in the game.

Unfortunately I haven't gone on the Water Totem quest but I'll be sure to look out for it and give a full report when I do.
