Blood! Drama! Boobs! (Sony throws a helluva party)

So Sony decides they're going to throw a launch party in the EU for God of War II. Being that it's Sony you just know it's going to end up being a PR nightmare.

goat.jpgSo what does one bring to a launch party that supposed to be based in ancient Greece? Let's look at the list:

  • Guys wearing fur

  • Women wearing body paint and nothing else

  • Live snakes

  • A still-warm freshly decapitated goat stuffed with food

Want to take a shot at which of those might've gotten them into a bit of hot water?

It seems killing a live goat and getting people to reach inside it's body to eat some food they stuffed in there would be considered something of a social faux paus.

Of course since then Sony has been falling all over themselves to apologize but it's a little hard for them to distance themselves from this one, see the pictures were printed in Sony's PS magazine. They've since issued a recall, but animal rights groups are rightfully pissed.

Put another "what the hell were they thinking" feather in Sony's cap

It seems like someone for Microsoft or Nintendo got hired on Sony's marketing team so they can bring Sony down from the inside...
