A BBPS Original Rumor: Bomberman on Live Arcade?

Ok folks -- speculation time. I was just taking my evening stroll through the Hudson boards and noticed the following in a post from John Master Lee regarding a new Bomberman game in the works;

In this new version, we are planning introduce some new unlockable Bomberman characters (more details of this coming one day.) For all the fans out there, please send us your ideas for achievements that the player can accomplish to unlock the new characters.

What was that John? Did you say "achievements"? Sure, he could mean that it in the most general and non-360 of ways, but lets face facts -- the word "achievement" has a certain stigma attached to it this generation, and I have no doubt that John knows it.

Moving into the realm of uber-speculation I'm gonna call it right now - this is going to be a new Bomberman title for Live Arcade. As we discussed earlier today, Bomberman's place on the 360 is not in the retail sector. Combine that with the success of Bomberman '93 on the Wii and it seems inevitable that Hudson would be putting together a Bomberman for Live Arcade. Lord knows it's what I'd like to see, anyways. I think we'd finally have the killer app needed to trump Uno.
