We've been looking forward to Castle Crashers for a long time. Like - a long time. And now that it's finally been priced? It can go fuck up a tree.

1800 points. The most expensive Live Arcade game ever.

'Nuff said.

Yet, if it came on a disc it would be "budget priced"

$22.50 is steeper than most, but is it possible that it may actually be worth that price?

The way i see it, Until we at least play the demo. It hard to judge if its worth the high price.

I have a question, if it was a disc based game, would the price tag bother you then?

[...] word of Castle Crashers 1800 points pricing hit, some of us were fucking pissed. Amazingly though, some of us were pretty receptive to the idea. An email chain ensued. [...]

All I can think of is, this game was supposedly developed by 2 people. How that results in 1800 MSP, I have no idea.

I don't know but if they used there spare time to make the game and they really just want to make games this could be there way in.

Maybe the demo would change my mind but, goddamn that's a lot of money. This game is a beat 'em up, those are not exactly known for having a lot of fucking depth you know. I just can't imagine there's really enough in there to justify that pricing. Yes you can replay this type of game quite a bit, but that's not more actually getting more game, it's just recycling it.
