If you've been following the chiptune-related articles from The BBPS, you're probably familiar with the GameBoy software, Little Sound DJ. As one might expect, the software, though powerful, is inherently a bit cumbersome to use. That's where these come in handy.

As 8bitcollective member Ralp explains, these modded keyboards are mode for use with LSDJ's "Live Mode. The arrows are used to step through the channels, Page Down and Page Up to go up and down the screen (B + Up / Down), ENTER to launch (START)." Basically, you can more easily trigger pre-programmed loops. I've never felt the need to use one of these, but come on - they look plain awesome.
Stay tuned until next week for more chiptune-age.
