ChipTuesday: Pulsewave 8.29.09

The last Saturday of the month is fast approaching, which means it’s time for another Pulsewave in NYC. This month’s show is a special one as Two Player Productions, producers of the Blip Festival documentary and live DVDs are moving their operation to the west coast, and at the same time, helping release the 100th 8BitPeoples album.

Performing at the farewell party will be 8BK-OK, Bud Melvin, Touchboy, and Covox, with DJ sets from Natty and C-Tor, and visuals by V-Blank, J.Y.K., and Dave Mauro. It’s almost like a mini Blip Festival. The shindig starts up at 7pm, so get there early to catch a screening of the Blip Fest documentary follow-up Reformat The Planet 1.5, followed by the ever-present Open Mic.
