Classic Bomberman heading to Xbox Live Arcade!

True, it's not the first Bomberman game to hit the 360, but it will be the first one that isn't a total abmonination.

Expected to hit in this summer, Bomberman will support re-vamped graphics, full character customization and 8-player online multiplayer (listening Nintendo??). For those that don't like playing online you'll be able to get 3 friends together and play some 4-player local games as well.

"This has been one of our most requested games, our fans have been clamoring for it, and we are thrilled to finally be able to deliver the game they want," said John Greiner, President of Hudson Entertainment.
"As our flagship series, Bomberman has been hailed as the best multiplayer game ever created. Now that Xbox LIVE(R) Arcade delivers a truly worldwide multiplayer gaming platform, we can at last bring to market a Bomberman game that represents our long-term vision of the brand."
