Commander Shepard is dead...

Well, here it is.  Likely to be the most talked about 60 seconds of videogame footage for the next few weeks, the first teaser trailer for Bioware's Mass Effect 2 hit the internet with the bombshell proclamation that Commander Shepard is KIA.  Surely a ruse of some sort, it's bound to give rise to many completely zany theories.  Here's mine: they killed him off because the voice actor that played him was God awful.  What's yours?
