The new look of TheBBPS.com! [Updated]

Site-Redesign.jpgAs you may or may not realize, you're looking at the brand-new design of our humble little site, Bits Bytes Pixels & Sprites (If you think it's a pain in the ass to say, I'm stuck typing it all the time). The name may be a tounge twister but I've grown quite fond of it, so it's here to stay.

We started back in July with the intention to try and bring something new to the internets, a place where those of us who don't have the time to game that we'd like a place to visit. Since we don't have enough time for gaming starting a site probably wasn't the best idea, as it has eaten up a large part of my oh so little spare time. But it's been worth it. We've made friends with other great gaming sites like Destructoid, Aeropause, GayGamer, AtariAge, LastBoss, Racketboy, GamePolitics.com and more (That list is in no order at all btw, you all kick serious amounts of ass.)

I appreciate and enjoy every single hit to this site, and the people that leave comments are just icing on the cake. Thanks to each and every one of you. I'm pretty sure you guys like us, we've been on the web for almost 6 months and only 1 guy has called me a fag. With the usual discourse on the internet that has to be some kind of record.

I've got some big stuff planned. A little contest to herald in the new design, and hopefully a few new writers. And a very special holiday event. I think you'll enjoy it.

but seriously - I've been reading bbps for the past few months and I've never been happier to stumble across a new blog. This is hands down in my top 3. You guys keep up the awesome work, and I'll keep coming back.

The new look is going to take a little getting used to, but I'm sure after a while I'll like it just as much as I did the other one.

What can I say? I don't like new things - they scare me. :S
