2K games is just killing it in the fan service department these days. First, at their fans behest, they decided to make a special edition version of Bioshock. Then they had a vote on their website to see what should come with it. Then they started a contest to let someone design the cover art. That's some nice work, and a good example of a company listening and doing a solid for the people that buy the product. The votes have been tallied and the details of what you'll get in the special edition are beginning to emerge. Available on August 21st, the special edition will include: - Big Daddy figurine
- Behind the scenes DVD
- Soundtrack CD.
- The packaging will also be an embossed graphic designed by the winner of the Cover Art Contest going on now at www.cultofrapture.com.
It'll be available exclusively at EB/Gamestop for $70 US (the normal $10 more than the standard edition). Personally I'm most looking forward to the soundtrack. I voted for it to include the art book but no dice. Check out all the info over at www.cultofrapture.com
