DSi Flipnote App Now Out in US

Remember back in April when we were drooling over the Japan-only Moving Memo Pad app for the DSi?  Well I have some good news.  Good news number one: It's finally available for us freedom lovers.  Good news number two: It's free.  Bad news for me: I don't have a DSi.

The app has been renamed to Flipnote Studio and can now import images from the DSi's camera.  Also, while not supported by Nintendo, users can upload their animations to Flipnote Hatena - a YouTube-esque site, but lower-rez and probably kind of dirty.  Check out the sample at the top of the post.
