This accessory would be ridiculous if it weren't so friggin cool. Seriously I know I should hate this thing but every time I look at it I just smile. I think it really all comes does to the bowling alley style fan they have built into the side.

The chip bowl in the top lights up and the 4 beverage holders are freezable so it'll keep your drinks cold while you're busy kicking your friends asses in Wii Sports. There are holders on the sides to keep 4 Wii-motes handy and a slide out drawer that'll hold a few nunchucks. There's also a scoreboard so you can track wins and losses over the course of an entire night over a variety of games.

The Nyko party station is silly, there's no way around that. But it's fun, and I can appreciate a company trying something totally out of the ordinary. I'd be a lot more into it if the thing were refrigerated, so you didn't have to freeze the drink holders, but that would then require an AC plug and might be more of a hassle than it's worth. In the end, with a price point of $25, it's probably right in the range of being cheap enough that people wouldn't regret picking it up. If nothing else friends will get a kick out of it, and the bowling alley style fan is hilarious.

And if drying off your hands saves even just one TV from a flying Wii-mote, wasn't the purchase worth it?

My first thought on seeing that picture: "What... the... heck... is... THAT!?"

It's silly, it's random, it's odd, it's a bit useless... but I can't deny the fact that it's cool, too. Wow.

This thing is ridiculous! It reminds me of a conversion van. Or those sofas with the cup holders in the arm rests. All it needs is a toilet, and you'd never have to get up!
