Earlier today details emerged for one multi-player mode that will be featured in the October 2007 title, Grand Theft Auto IV.  The mode revealed in the latest issue of Games TM has two players facing off against eachother in the vast open world of Liberty City, once they can track the other down.  The mode sounds like Crackdown's co-op option, but with each player gunning for the other.

Also, Games TM revealed new single-player details for the game including the importance of the internet as a tool for the main character to gain missions the same way the cellphone has been quoted as being an essential device.

More details as they emerge.
