E3 Prediction: Ready at Dawn working on God of War 3?

Everyone and their mother is making E3 predictions this week, so why should I be any different? A few random tidbits of information were dancing around in my head today and suddenly it all clicked. I think Sony's big announcement regarding Kratos & Co is that God of War 3 is being helmed by Ready at Dawn. Check out the puzzle pieces -- they all fit neatly together;

  • God of War 3 has already been confirmed as being present in some capacity at E308
  • Ready at Dawn have made a big show about moving away from handheld development
  • We can safely assume that the message "Can’t wait to show you guys what we have in store…. " on the Ready at Dawn website means they're already working on a new project.
  • Chains of Olympus was fucking BRILLIANT. Now that Jaffe's gone, who else would you turn to?

I also wouldn't be surprised to hear Sony has signed an exclusivity deal with Ready At Dawn. Thus far they've only had one title published outside of the Sony family and it was a straight-up port. Anything original they've done has been for the big S, and I don't mean Superman.

So am I crazy? Or does this one make sense?

Makes total sense and it would actually be pretty damn awesome! Like you said, Chains is incredible and my favorite in the series. If you're right Jim I'll totally send you a gift on Facebook.

If this is true it gets combined with the news of Oneechambra hitting the Wii next year meaning that I'll be needing a PS3 and a Wii ASAP!
