I was actually browsing on ebay to price a Dance Dance Revolution arcade machine (LONG story) and I came across this monstrosity. It's a replica of a DDR dance pad that you can plug directly into your PSX or PS2. Wicked Cool! Millions of gamers rejoice, for now you too can have a large hunk of touch-sensitive metal with a vanity arm to steady yourself before you perform a face plant whilst dancing around like a geek to Britney Spears' "You Drive Me Crazy"! Sign me up for two, please! The ad itself is the best part, like it thinks it knows what type of person would buy one of these things. Phrases like "Super Heavy Duty, can handle player weight up to 500 LBS" and "The entire platform frame is metal 3" Thick, NON SLIP Wooden Bottom, and it will never break" bring to mind that hilarious viral video of the overweight gamer dancin' his ass off and making the ladies swoon, until he totally fracks up and almost knocks the machine over at the end. (Check after the break to see said video.) But no worries! This won't happen at home, for it is NON SLIP! Gads. I know i'm kind of making fun, but deep down, I wanna be awesome at DDR. The one plus to this "Super Arcade" model is that you can practice at home before making a fool of yourself in front of the preteens at the arcade. Which is always, always a good idea.
