If Dan has piqued your curiosity about Every Extend Extra with his recent review, then you'll love the treat I have in store. Most people don't know this, but Every Extend Extra actually began it's life as the Miziguchi-free Japanese PC freeware title Every Extend. Freeware. That's a very special word. I'm sure you see where I'm going with this.

A number of sites online (such as download.com) still have the freeware version of Every Extend available for download. So why would you want to try a game that we only gave 2 out of 5?

Well, we can't be right all the time. ;)

Every Extend is one of those titles that, for every hundred or so people who hate it, one person will think it's genius. While Dan seemed to fall into the majority on this one (and I can't say I blame him) I personally love the dance involved in snaking between your enemies, waiting for the opportunity to blow the whole screen to smithereens. (Mind you, I haven't played the PSP version as Dan has, so maybe Q Entertainment somehow took this great gameplay mechanic found in the original and wrecked it.)

Either way, go give this bad boy a download and decide for yourself -- then let us know what you think! Personally I'd like to see this on XBLA. If you ask me, I think it would be the next Geometry Wars.
