FieldRunners 1.1 is finally here!

I just woke up to some of the best day starting news I've had in ages -- FieldRunners 1.1 is now available on the iTunes App Store!

In case you somehow missed it, FieldRunners is a tower defense game for the iPhone/iPod Touch that we reviewed a few weeks back and gushed all over. It's still the go-to game on my Touch, and I don't see that changing anytime soon -- especially now that we have a new map, some new Runners, and an Endless mode! Version 1.1 is essentially a free expansion pack rather than a simple bug fix like most +.1's end up being.

- Sound and music is here! This update includes sound effects and a Fieldrunners theme song.

- Added a new map that requires new strategies.

- Added the highly requested Endless gameplay mode!

- Introduced two new fieldrunners. Watch out, one is invulnerable to goo!

- Added a grid to help place towers.

- The most recently obtained high score is now highlighted.

- Enhanced the visual quality of the title screen and the maps.

- Fixed an issue where the build menu would disappear indefinitely.

- Fixed a bug that allowed the player to resume a completed game.

- The "new high score" dialog will now only appear if you achieve a new high score.
