Finally! An easy way to activate Star Power!

If you listen to our podcast, chances are you know I've come late to the whole "Guitar Hero" party. I'm digging the game, but the wife and I have both had one major complaint: activating Star Power is damn near impossible. It's nothing like it was in the first GH -- at least not with my guitar. I literally have to rotate this thing a full 90 degrees before it even thinks about activating. Not a lot of fun. Luckily, it looks like someone out there has put together yet another mod for the X-Plorer controller. This one adds a kill switch and a star power button. les w00t!

Too bad I don't know how to solder. :(

I really haven't had a problem getting the star power to activate with the 360 model... hmmm.

Me either. At first I did, but now that I've gotten better at the game, I'd chalk up my initial problems to inexperience, not an actual issue with the controller itself.
