Finally, I can burn my graph paper..

Sure we've had D&D video games before -- but what about a D&D PC title that isn't really a game, but still kinda is? Confused yet? You should be.

Dungeons and Dragons Insider (based on the upcoming D&D 4.0 ruleset) brings the classic tabletop D&D experience to your PC -- allowing you to create your own maps, characters, stories etc. It's a Dungeon Master's wet dream and best of all -- it's online!

Visually this bad boy isn't much to look at but that's not really the point. I could never really get into tabletop roleplaying as a kid (despite my uber-geeky friends still playing to this day) but something like this might finally turn me around. After all -- it's a lot easier to pretend I'm a dwarven child molester with a cleft lip and a heart of gold when I don't have to look my nerdy friends in the face and get my greasy mitts all over a 20-sided die.

And so, out of respect for my paper-and-pen geeky breathern, I'd like to share my favorite moment from the god awful PS2 RPG Summoner (the game sucked, but this bonus content at the end was worth the play through);

That wizard was the guard from Red Faction and there was a Red Faction poster on the wall, as well. Man, Red Faction was a great game. "Glass House" and deformable terrain were a blast.
