Okami, Oblivion nab 4 nominations apiece for GDC awards

This year's GDC awards nominees have been announced, and lo and behold one of my favorite games ever is up for 4 awards. Okami may have been a commercial disappointment, but those lucky few of us that played it know how perfect a game can be when it's taken care of and treated the way Clover Studios (RIP) took care of Okami. Snubbed by the (obvious) bastards at the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences, we'll just go ahead and call the GDC noms Okami's just desserts.

The award show will take place during the Game Developers Conference in March in San Fran. Full list of nominees after the jump.
