1st wireless guitar hero controllers hit the shelves

@ the local target again, RAZR phone camera to the rescue! Snapped these pics of the Official Red Octane wireless guitar controllers for one of the best games ever made, Guitar Hero I & II. Pretty sweet sloped packaging with a swanky (read: plastic) handle for which to carry said guitar. $49.99.

I kinda like the cord to be honest, just means my axe is wired into the amp nice and proper like. Of Course if I had the wireless I could finish each song with a pretty wicked Pete Townsend leap over my couch. Hmmmm...

SWEET!! I had no idea they were making an official one. I really hope Microsoft works with Red Octane for the 360 version of GH II and allows them to put out a wireless guitar.

I cannot wait for Guitar Hero to come out for Xbox 360, and the prospect of potentially having a wireless guitar makes it even cooler.....

Anyway, danzuke of BBPS (acronymed because I’m lazy) fame snapped some pictures of the official, Red Octane approved wireless Guitar Hero 2 controller in the wild at his local Target. The cost of rock, $49.99. Not quite worth it for me, but being able to rip my Jack Black-esque gutitar solos (watched School of Rock last night and got inspired) with out accidentally tossing my PS2 across the room would be nice.
