Holy Crap, a news story that doesn't try to make video games look like the tool of the devil!

It's actually quite a nice little piece all things considered. Probably because it's from a Boston TV station and Harmonix is based right next door in Cambridge. There's a little bit of warning about straining your arm by playing to much Guitar Hero, but it's actually tempered and based in reality.

Hooray news media, you got it right for once.

I've been playing GH2 nearly every day for 2 weeks now, and I am embarrassed to admit that my left wrist gets sore if I play too long, and two of my fingertips on my left hand feel a little numb. As the guy in the video says, I should probably just lay off GH2 for a few days.... but I can't seem to put the guitar down!

Stamina people, stamina. Guys especially. If I ever hear about any of you whining about being sore from playing this game then you should just go trade it in.

You're not rock enough.

This game doesn't just need your hands and wrists to play (and btw, who hasn't built up those muscles?), it needs your blood and demands your soul. If you're 7 minutes in to Free Bird and your hand starts to cramp up...SUCK IT UP. You finish the damn song and don't fuck up.

Remember, the Guitar Gods are watching you.
