Guitar Hero Wish List...

guitarhero.JPGI've had a long weekend to develop a valid opinion of Guitar Hero II for the Xbox 360. From what I've read

about this version as compared to the PS2 version, there is minimal differences but that has nothing to do with what I think about the game.

I, along with everyone else whom has ever played the game, LOVE IT! I am miserably bad at it, but I still cant get enough. I started the game with the tutorial worked my way through Easy, with 5 stars on every song and I'm halfway through getting 5 stars on Medium. I will probably venture out into the word of 5 string guitars later today, but for now, I would like to let you in on a list of songs that I would love to see be released in the near future, via XBL Marketplace, or in the next chapter of Guitar Hero, whenever that may be.

Songs are sorted by importance in descending order.

  • Don't Stop Believing (Journey): This song has always been a favorite of many Americans and it would fair well with the fans of the Guitar Hero franchise.

  • I Want to Hold Your Hand (The Beatles): We all know that Dan can't get enough of The Beatles, and back in the day, who could? I Want to Hold Your Hand is the perfect song from the collection of songs by the British sensation, The Beatles.

  • Still (Rufio): Rufio is one of my personal favorites. The song Still is a good expression of the skills that their guitarist has. This song would have to be an un-lockable in at least the medium level, considering it would be lacking greatly with only 3 strings.

  • Enter Sandman (Metallica): As soon as Metallica gives up on that damn Metallica video game that will never work, they should sign on with Harmonix. I, myself, am not a big fan of Metallica, I actually dont really like the metal genre, but theres no denying that Guitar Hero is lacking a great metal band such as Metallica. Enter Sandman is one of there hits and is well known.

  • Stairway to Heaven (Led Zepellin): I know, I know, "No Stairway!" but c'mon, how great would it be to rip open the plastic, pop the disc in the tray, fire it up and open your first set with Stairway To Heaven! This is such a great song, and I would kill to play it on my Xbox 360, on my Xplorer Guitar, and maybe even get my old man in the game, that would be the song to do it!

So there you have it, that is my Guitar Hero wish list. If theres something I'm missing that you think should definitely be in there feel free to let me know! Comment here or discuss in the forums!

How about Bloodline, by Slayer. Or Ten Thousand Fists, by Disturbed, or Heroes, by Shinedown.

All awesome songs.
