Mizuguchi and Q releasing new rhythm/puzzle game for the PSP

Mizuguchi is one of my favorite producers. I mean we're talking about the man behind the musically inspired Space Channel 5, Lumines, and Rez, as well as Sega Rally. REZ is a landmark game, and Lumines is still the only PSP title I'd call a must own.

So when I hear about a new game from his company Q Entertainment, I tend to sit up and take notice. Granted Meteos was lackluster, but overall he doesn't disappoint. Enter Gunpey-R, a rhythm/puzzle game that originally game out on the Wonderswan system, now being remixed for the PSP & DS. The site's all in Japanese so I don't know much in the way of specifics, but the visuals already have me excited.

[update: It's been brought to my attention that the original Gunpey game was designed by none other that Gunpei Yokoi. If you dont know who he is, you certainly know two of his best works, "Metroid" and the Game Boy. It's great to see works of live on after his death.]
