Halo 3 Spartan Customization

The upcoming issue of GamePro has new Halo 3 details that have leaked online and it's exploding the internets. The article outlines new multi-player maps Epitaph, Shrine & Last Resort; new and old weapons like the original Halo pistol (sans zoom) and vehicles like the refined Wraith (now with a gunner seat) and the Brute Chopper (a motorcycle like vehicle).

The most incredible addition to Halo 3's multiplayer? Total Spartan customization! You can change armor types on your character from head to toe to really define your online persona. Some of the images of new Spartan looks scream out Stormtroopers, Samus Aran and even the Marathon Security Guard, but we're not complaining about making our own custom Spartan Soldier (GamePro does not mention Elite customization). The fact that the "Beta" is so refined and seems to have less than 5% of the final multiplayer settings we think this might be the Halo game we've always dreamed of.

The biggest shocker of them all? People still buy GamePro .... wait, for reals?
