Halo 3: The Soda

Halo 3? Mountain Dew? Has the world gone crazy??

Oh no, wait. I forgot that we live in a time of cross-promotion whorism where Calvin Klein would take the skin off a child if he thought it would get them a "Smell like CK Day" at Yankee Stadium. Sigh.

That being said, everyone Halo fan worth their weight in Beta codes will probably line up for these bad boys. Of course they will. That's how these things work. That's why Calvin Klein would do the thing mentioned above. Sorry, I'm just stuck in some kind of a weird shame-spiral this morning. I'll stop. Halo fanboys, enjoy your sodies.

No word on when this will be hitting store shelves. No word on anything relating to this actually. These pics were found on Major Nelson's flickr, but he hasn't blogged about them yet. Hopefully we'll get the dirt soon.

microsoft needs to stop pushing so hard with advertising. if there's one game they don't have to advertise at all, it's halo. making halo a soda is just obnoxious.

You realize Mountain Dew and Microsoft have been advertising Halo together since the Xbox first launched, right?

Doesn't bother me, and I'm pretty sure it's more of a way to push Mountain Dew than it is a way to push Halo

I don't think we have it up here in Canada at all. I've checked every major convenience store and have yet to come across it. Probably has something to do with the toxic level of caffeine in it -- Health Canada has some pretty strict rules compared to the FDA.
