Sorry... couldn't help myself. If you don't know Henry Jenkins, for shame. This guy is Director of the MIT Comparative Media Studies Program and without a doubt one of the leading scholars when it comes to video games. And a helluva writer/thinker at that. He was just profiled in the recent issue of Game Informer magazine, which was cool in and of itself. But while cruising one of my favorite sites , Game|Life, I came across this link of a post on Jenkins' blog with a kind of primer of the man's work. For people just finding out about him from the Game Informer article this is an excellent place to start. It's all worth reading, so I'm not going to point to a single entry.... just read them all. Then when you're done buy some of his books!
