Hey everyone look! A reporter is being an idiot!

Kid tries to steal GTAIV, so it's obviously the game's fault. My question is if if was stealing it, he didn't own it. And if he didn't own it, how could he have been influenced by it?

Police say he wanted it, so he took it. Probably just like the character in the game he was taking.

And some wonder why I don't like people.

I bet he's one of the (many) annoying jerkface types on Xbox Live. In fact, I bet that if I've ever played a Halo 3 match with him, he's been reported.

LOL....why was he trying to kick the cops through the window? That's not GTA...that's PCP.

Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if he works for R* and this is just a publicity stunt. C'mon a helicopter was used to chase down a shoplifter?? It's not like he stole a rare $15,000 NES cartridge.

I doubt they sent up a helicopter just to hunt this guy down; there was probably already one in the air searching for any number of different things, i.e. speeders on the freeway (that Gamestop is near a few freeways). I was going to say that it might have been a news helo that spotted the guy's car, but if that was the case, they'd have surely aired footage from that happening.

My question is: what other games did he steal... I think that is germane to the discussion.
