What're Your Holiday Gaming Plans?

With Christmas a couple days away that usually means a couple of things: Presents and time off from work. This year I've asked to get a bunch of GameStop gift cards so that I can put them towards a PS3 sometime around my birthday. More importantly I also get a day or two off of work so I might have some time to actually put in to gaming.

Last week Amazon's video game deal of the day was the new Prince Of Persia for $40. With that scheduled to show up tomorrow I hope to tear into that before the new year hits. The game looks absolutely beautiful in the screenshots and videos so I just hope that it's also as fun to play as the other recent entries into the series. I'm also hoping to get some more time to finish up co-oping Gears Of War 2 with Rich. Oh, and I should probably get back to WoW as well. It's been about a month since I actually spent time playing...

What about you all? Are you expecting to get any games this Christmas? What do you plan on playing over whatever break you might have?

My 1st order of business is to hit 80 on my druid in WoW... I'm knocking on the door of 79 so I anticipate being there in a day or so. Then I have some Winter Veil holiday quests to do...

Then I plan on getting deeper into Fallout 3, taking breaks to play Gears 2 and Left 4 Dead when people are online.

Kevin in WoW? Inconceivable!

I'll be hitting up Rock Band 2, Left 4 Dead, and possibly some LittleBigPlanet. My brother is out visiting us, so co-op games are where it's at right now!

Definately some WoW for me. And of course Rock Band, as well as some Left 4 Dead. Maybe some friendly matches of Tiger Woods 08 and I need to play some more Castle Crashers.

So little games, so much time....wait, scratch that...reverse it.

My holiday gaming extravaganza:

Finish Tomb Raider: Underworld
Finish Prince of Persia
Finish LittleBigPlanet
Attempt finishing Left 4 Dead on expert (which is just impossible, I don't care what anyone says)
Rock Band 2
Get further in Banjo Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts

Probably some Little Big Planet and Rock Band 2. Just got Red Alert 3 so I can play with a couple friends that I know are getting it for Christmas. Probably some TF2 here and there.

Other than that? *shrug* Who knows?

Odds are that I'll be getting a few videogames this Christmas, especially since I didn't receive any for my birthday (which is surprising). I'm more curious about the other presents that I'll get, though: I've been promised a few odd things this year.

I don't have a lot of free time, though, so I won't be playing much more than the usual. Oh well, I don't mind too much. smilies/smiley.gif

@Miles: Left 4 Dead on expert is brutal! I doubt I'll ever have the motivation to do it.

@Swiftwulf: I forgot about Castle Crashers... I don't think I've played it since the day I bought it.

Castle Crashers is definitely a title I need to revisit. Haven't played it since the week it launched.

Got my Prince of Persia in the mail today, Amazon sent me the Limited Edition!

I'm still on my 2nd playthrough of Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World, and I've got some catching up to do in Guitar Hero: World Tour, 'cause I absolutely SUCK at the game.

My goal is to finish my first actual, complete LBP level. The addition of the Paintinator has spurred things on drastically. All I need from Mm now is "real water" and I'm all set.

Seriously, that shit takes hours, when you are as picky as me. Love it though.

Also planning on picking up a copy of L4D in the New Year to get some zombie blasting on, which is very overdue.

@Ryan: I just got back into LBP... be sure to make a post when you're done with your level so I can give it a whirl!
