Enter Marvel:Ultimate Alliance, which is about a button-masher as it gets, but with some friends or siblings around just doesn't get old. There's a huge roster of players and a pretty good story to give you a good reasons to beat the crap out of everything. ESRB Rating: T

MSRP: $169.99 Bundle / $59.99 Software Only

Santa Says: The high price point means this isn't exactly a pollyanna gift, but nonetheless for someone up high on your list that dreams of being rock star, it's hard to do better than Rock Band. This goes double for someone that you can play the game with so you can get some enjoyment out of it too. It's expensive, but you certainly get a lot for your buck (Guitar, Drums, a microphone and the game) and it's a better deal than 100 bucks for the Guitar Hero 3 bundle. Motorstorm

Motorstorm

Santa Says: If you have an arcade-style racing fan on your list who likes to get down and dirty and mix it up in the vehicle class department, you're probably not going to find a more original experience this year than Motorstorm. Santa Says: In a world of sports titles that seem to offer nothing more than a roster update year after year, it's refreshing to find a new sports title that actually succeeds at doing something a little different than the rest. At it's core,The Bigs may seem like little more than an arcade-style swinger, but get a little more involved and you'll start to see a lot of RPG-style elements as you level up your rookie based on his performance and the types of skills you want him to develop. Couple that with the uber-addictive Pinball mode that has you wrecking Times Square as you shoot for that high score, and you'll find yourself engrossed in one of the best sports titles of the year.

Puzzle QuestPuzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords

Available On: PSP/DS

ESRB Rating: E

MSRP: $19.99

BUY IT NOW!

Santa Says: Combining RPG elements and Bejeweled might not sound like a compelling title, but Puzzle Quest is one of the best casual experiences available on handhelds (and recently on XBLA). Hours of questing, building experience points and multi-player battles (online on PSP only) are plenty of reasons why you'll keep coming back to this title again and again.
