I can't help it -- I just get a kick out of cool mods. I'm the guy who spent five hours trying to hunt down his car online so he could stick it into the PC version of GTAIII (FYI: mission accomplished), and I'm also a bit of a Simpsons nut, which is why I loved this clip. When I stumbled across Homer slicing and dicing little bitch Anakin Skywalker, I just knew I had to share.

Mods like this go way back to the days of Doom, so I ask you, what wacky mods have you run and loved?

Yeah, it's a bonus that console players don't get nearly as much... even NES/etc ROM-hacks are generally only played on PC (e.g. Mario Adventure).

I'm pretty sure that MS will be the first to really bring mods to the console market, but probably not for a while (at least until after the 360), and likely in a very closed, limited form.
