Random acts of PS3 kindness

This little story warms the corners of even my jaded heart. JimmyCanuck (routine commenter so he's aces in our book) decided he was getting tired of all the crap the PS3 line-waiters were getting into (what with being shot at and all), and decided to do something nice for them.

Having to run into Best Buy yesterday he spotted the fast-becoming-common line up for the Playstation 3, huddled under tarps to keep out of the driving rain. So he drove across the street to buy them all hot chocolate.

Commenters over on Kotaku seem to be giving him grief for doing it, but we here salute you. It's a small gesture from one gamer to another, and is how we should be treating each other anyway. With people like Jack Thompson and Leland Yee on our case, it's up to us to take care of each other.
