How-To: Fix the faulty downstrumming on your Rock Band Guitar

Last week I posted a story about my Rock Band guitar developing a significant issue with the strum bar. Seems I wasn't the only one having the problem either. Luckily, some intrepid soul out there seems to have got the problem nailed down and has posted a step-by-step fix for the rest of us.

Warning, it involves opening the guitar and will almost certainly void the warranty... so proceed at your own risk
