No, that's not Cloud Strife, and yes, those are two consecutive 'U's in that word.  The end of Marvelous Entertainment's countdown has yielded another attempt at a manic WarioWare- or Ryhthm Tengoku-like games for the PSP.  This one looks a little more promising than WTF or Hot Pxl, though.

Yuusha 30, has four different game-types in one, apparently each one with its own lead character.  The game throws 30-second bits of action, RTS, shooting, and RPG gameplay at your face, just to see you try to make sense of it all.  The trailer is pretty sparse on in-game footage, so hopefully we'll see more before its May launch date in Japan.

The game features graphics reminiscent of SNES-era Final Fantasy games, with beautiful cut-scenes between the half-minute gameplay.  The cutesy graphics mixed with the goofy gameplay definitely complement each other.

Hopefully this one's as import friendly as the aforementioned WarioWare and Tengoku games.  A lot of Marvelous' games make their way to North America, and especially Europe, but who knows!
