Insert ODST Questions Here

What up my fellow Spartan and Spartanettes? Kid Dynamite over here (aka Jimmy the Wonder Dog) is going to be heading out to a Halo 3 ODST preview event this afternoon, and I could use your help! If anyone has any questions they'd like answered, just post them in the comments below. I can't guarantee I'll be able to get answers, but I'll have the right people in front of me to try.

i would like to play the new maps on odst with all the new guns etc like the laser pistol/br etc but its only allowing me to play campaign with all the new guns... can i not play multiplayer online with the new guns? and also in matchmaking instead of playing custom games and choosing lets say long shore or heretic, what do i choose to play those maps? like team slayer, social slayer, team doubles, team throwdown
? any help would be appreciated. i feel like i just spent 60$ for no reason, and really think that if i cant play online with the new maps and guns, then this was all a huge waste
