Although MLB 2k7 introduced never before seen features, such as rain delays, it turns out that the game did not fair well with fans of the 2k series' and baseball in general. For me it is the ease of hitting home runs during XBL lobby games that draws my attention for the game. For others it may be the difficulty of fielding, but have no fear, 2k knows how to make there fans happy.

Albert Pujols has been named the cover athlete for 2k's newest hardball game, "The BIGS". The BIGS will be an arcade style MLBPA game in which each player's star attributes will be put in the spotlight, whether it be a defensive web gem, a monster long ball, or a lightening quick stolen base.

In addition to the star attributes, the game will also set focus to making the actual stadiums "larger than life", be it the mitt in AT&T park, exaggerated in size, or the "green monster" in Fenway, actually being a giant green monster, the 2k Team looks to grab the attention of the gamer any way possible. One additional feature that looks pretty cool as being able to play in the heart of Time Square, smack dab in the middle of Broadway.
