Is this the US LittleBigPlanet box art?

Earlier today ThreeSpeech gave us our first peek at the final UK box art for LittleBigPlanet. Honestly, I'm not too sure what I think of it. It seems to get the vibe across, but at the same time feels too cluttered. But the box art above? Now that I like.

We came across this on the Amazon website this morning, and considering it's similarity to the UK box, ESRB rating, and developer logos, I'm gonna say I'm 99% sure this is the real deal. They might make a last minute switcheroo and turn me into a liar, but I'd be shocked if this wasn't the final North American box art.

It's cleaner, it's friendlier -- it feels a hell of a lot more like what I'd want to see on an LBP box. What say you? Prefer the cluttered mess that is the UK version, or the sleek and charming US one?

Eh, they both look pretty good to me. I just want the damn game. They could give me the disc in a ziploc bag with some tape on it.

I thought LBP was supposed to be a downloadable game over the Playstation Network?

Really? I was pretty sure it was retail only. We'll have to wait and see on this one.

There was some talk initially about doing a downloadable version but I believe this is blu-ray only now. They did a closed beta instead.

Perhaps it was originally planned as a downloadable game, but due to the overwhelmingly warm receptions it's received, they decided to push it into a full retail game. Just a thought. Also, this might be a game that finally pushes me to get a PS3. That said, I'll likely wait for another price drop.
