It's Friday! So...What'cha Playing?

The weekend is here, and that means that my one day off per week happens tomorrow (for Dan as well) and I'll celebrate it by not doing much. My wife and I might go over to a friend's house for dinner and drinks. We also might zip over to Philly and pick up Marah tickets for their annual Christmas show at the TLA (I refuse to refer to it as The Fillmore at the TLA) though that will probably be about all we do. The rest of the time we'll catch up on TV shows that we missed during the course of the week. We're exciting, I know.

Gaming you ask? That's what work is for! Really...just about the only thing I played this week was Daxter on the PSP, which is totally kicking ass. It's a really well paced platformer that gives you a good amount of variation to keep it from feeling tedious. I'm also on a Clubhouse Games kick again as the darts minigame owns me. Well, it really owns my bathroom time. You know how it is.

So, dear readers, the question remains: What the hell you been playing?

Lot's of free, experimental indies. Kloonigames have been soaking up a bunch of free time. Pluto Strikes Back, Crayon, and The Amazing Flying Brothers are my favorites, but Cacodemon's Barbecue Party in Hell is pretty funny.

360 is in the shop, Boo-urns! Saturday night will be bowling (for real even, as in, not on the Wii... seriously). Aside from that, maybe some MSN Uno or PuzzleQuest on the PC.

I will at some point this weekend be playing Guitar Hero 3, as well as the usual stuff, probably some TF2 and puzzle quest thrown in.

I've been taking advantage of a sale a certain video chain has been having on used game the past few weeks and really swelling my ranks... since last Thursday I've picked up and played SSX 3, Onimushu 2, College Hoops 2K7 and Ace Combat: The Unsung War.
