Jack & Diane hacked into Guitar Hero II

I remember reading way back when the Guitar Hero II demo came out that there was a way to force some of the other songs in the game to be available, but this is something beyond that. Anyone have any idea how they do this? Amplitude had this great feature that would let you create custom mixes with the included tracks but they never let you put in different songs. So how exactly did this guy get "jack & Diane" into GHII? I'm guess it's running off a dev kit of computer, but I honestly don't know.

It's cool though, looks like a fun song to play!
