JoySticks: The movie

"If you win, I'll close down the arcade."

Here's what I know about the movie JoySticks, it's campy 80's nonsense about uptight assholes trying to shut down the town's arcade. Naturally, the kids fight back. Also, one of the characters is named King Vidiot (played by Uncle Rico from Napoleon Dynamite).

Double bonus, it's part of a triple-bill (alongside Rock'n'Roll High School and Satan's Cheerleaders) from Exhumed Films, a group of guys that get together and show old b-movies in the Philadelphia/New Jersey area. This particular cavalcade of Oscar material will be shown this Saturday (the 22nd) night! I'm pretty sure I'll be there, so if you're in the area, come down and check it out. It's like a real life grindhouse.... 3 movies, 12 bucks.
