I loved Super Princess Peach. It's easily the best platformer I've played on the DS (and yes, I'm factoring New Super Mario Bros. in that). Regardless of how much I enjoyed it, the following news just breaks my heart. Super Princess Peach was intended to bring us the long-awaited return of the Koopa Kids, but was changed somewhere along the line. How do we know? The above animations were found by some clever hackers as hiding right on the SPP cart.

Oh shoot... I saw the sprites before reading the text, and started believing that I might have missed a game where they showed up recently. *sigh*

At least, this is good news somewhat: they didn't forget about the Koopa Kids. Maybe next time!

Hmmm... I've heard of this before, but never seen the sprites though.

Sad that Nintendo left them out, but the Ludwig animation made me laugh xD
