LittleBigPlanet WON'T be coming to the PlayStation Store

It's kind of a strange situation. When it first debuted there was a lot of speculation about whether or not LittleBigPlanet was going to be a retail offering or a direct download via the PlayStation Store. As time went on a disc-based version was definitely confirmed -- but what about a PlayStation Store counterpart? Warhawk did it. Gran Turismo 5 Prologue did it. Even Siren did it (albeit, in Japan only). So what of LBP? I spoke with Kyle Moffatt of Sony Computer Entertainment Canada to try and clear things up. Here's the official word: "The game will be available at retail. The user gen content will be available on the PSN."

So there you have it folks -- LittleBigPlanet? You're going to have to make your way down to the store for that one.

I've been trying to get an clear answer to this for a bit now. I could swear I heard is was going to be PSN and retail. I'm sad but at least now its clear
