LucasArts Loses PR Jedi Knight

jedicertificate_041.jpgChris Baker, public relations Jedi, dropped an email to his vast galaxy of contacts of his parting from LucasArts late Tuesday evening.

While his name may not be as known as fellow PR practitioners Phil Harrison, Jade Raymond or Peter Moore; Chris held a pivotal role at LucasArts during the development of Star Wars: Battlefront II and the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Unleashed.

Unlike the feeling Anakin Skywalker expresses toward sand, I have liked -- maybe even loved -- every minute of it. But alas, the time as come to leave Tatooine and head off to a new form of adventure and excitement. Even if a Jedi craves not these things.

While our relationship with Chris has been short lived, we wish him all the best in his future plans.

Closing out his email Chris dropped us all a piece of advice we relay to you with the upmost seriousness and importance.

The word "Wookiee" is capitalized with two E's at the end. Not one. Two.

Thanks Chris, and good luck sir.
