Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots has been confirmed for the Xbox 360 to be released after the title sees life on the PlayStation 3 platform...or has it? 

According to Destructiod poster Ron Workman the title is no longer a PS3 exclusive and will be released sometime in November 2008 and cites the Xbox 360 version will be rich with exclusive content:

MGS4 for the 360 will also come with exclusive content and gameplay that will not be in the PS3 version of the game. Some of this content is VR missions, as well as "Snake Tales" or "Snake in the Valley" (depending on where you live), which will let you go on objective based missions, some of which are very lengthy. These are the first two bonuses to emerge so far, but be ready to expect even more.

The problem is, no source has been cited for the confirmation. Destructoid poster Rob Workman commented on his own story saying, "Source is me asking and getting confirmation from someone at Konami, and someone at MS. This is not a joke." At the same time over at the Xbox official forums, this thread is rehashing the rumour calling it confirmed citing Swedish Magazine Super Play as the source. It is unknown if both postings are related. The two posts are not related as Workman is citing his article as inside information..

I actually believe it may happen and believe Workman knows what he's talking about but I'll wait for the press release before I jump for joy.

[Update: Reading the original post on Destructoid now removes all references to Sony and Metal Gear Solid and implies it was at the demand request of Sony's legal team via a cease and desist... ok, this is getting more interesting.]
