EB to open at midnight for Burning Crusade?

While I may dabble in WoW from time to time, my wife is one of those fanatics that makes all of us non-MMO gamers cringe. She's the type of person who can use words like "crit" and "gank" in casual conversation. It sickens me.

Regardless, I still try to play the role of good husband from time to time. Today that involved going down to my local EB to pay off her pre-order on The Burning Crusade. Much to my surprise I was told that they'd be opening at midnight on the 15th for Burning Crusade pre-orders. Ouch. I'll bet that pisses off all the people who had to camp out all night to buy a PS3.

No word on whether or not this is chain-wide or store by store. If you've pre-ordered though, give your local EB a call and find out. You might get lucky.

EDIT: Complete list of EB's with midnight opens is available here. The list doesn't include Canada, but like I said, I'm in Canada and my store is open. Give'em a call, canucks!

There's a big list on GameStop's web site of all the stores that are opening at midnight.
